The speaker, Julie Grossman, MD, is a well-known surgical cancer oncologist with a specialty of cutaneous (skin) surgical oncology and sarcoma surgical oncology at the Sylvester Comprehensive Care Center. She will be sharing recent advancements and treatment options and will provide ample time for guests to ask questions.

For more than three decades, our community has embraced the spirit of the season through the Heidi Hewes Chapter of the Woman’s Cancer Association of the University of Miami’s Home for the Holidays Walk and Tour. This festive event highlights the charm of our neighborhood while raising critical funds in the fight against cancer. This year’s tour will showcase a curated selection of beautifully decorated homes in central shores, each featuring entertainment and light refreshments. The event is made possible through the dedication of our members, the generosity of our sponsors, and the unwavering support of our neighbors. The Heidi Hewes Chapter is a 100% volunteer-led organization committed to funding cancer research, education, and patient support. Our goal for this year’s event is to raise over $50,000, and we are confident we can achieve it with your help.
